Axis & Allies 2nd EditionOctober 28, 2003 - 00:00 Quick Allied Victory
Submitted by Umbrage
This strategy assumes you/re playing with the standard rules, and none of the optional rules. If you get to play the allies and someone agrees to only the standard rules, following is the way to pummel them in a few short turns
May 26, 2000 - 23:00 The Grand Alliance
Submitted by James E. Lowe
The Alliance that won the Second World War was probably the most successful in history. Considering all the problems they had, internal and external, they achieved all there aims and did it with a economy of effort that defies ready compression. To understand such a alliance it is necessary that we look at each of the three nations.
May 16, 2000 - 23:00 Strategic Placement of Industrial Complexes
Submitted by Tom Knight
It is without question that one of the major factors concerning the play of Axis and Allies, (A&A), is the stationary position of the various industrial complexes. At the beginning of the game their are eight complexes distributed among five nations: Russia, two; Germany, two; UK, one; Japan, one; USA, two. These eight complexes never change and set the whole framework for material distribution and, I would argue, the game itself. The power of these complexes are extensive and not to be questioned in this paper.
June 26, 1999 - 23:00 Coordinating an Allied Strategy
Submitted by Matt Macdonald
The Allies in particular need to cooperate if they are to win. Every nation must assist every other, especially when the task involves protecting supply lines. I also would suggest that the goal of Allied cooperation must be the utter annihilation of the Wehrmacht.
